Marcia Angell, M.D.: Is the House Health Care Bill Better than Nothing? . . . . . Dr. Angell has provided five recommendations that have more than a touch of sensibility and financial soundness regarding the current House medical legislation. Yes an overhaul is a beneficial move, but it should cover the right people, the pricing need be realistic and not a bonus to the already overpaid practitioners, and the regulations need be simplified and streamlined for manageability and expense factors. Let's see what the Senate has up its sleeve, and what the common compromise the two houses come up with.
