Senate faces abortion rights rift - Carrie Budoff Brown and Jonathan Allen - POLITICO.com . . . . Notwithstanding the Obama desire for looser abortion language, and the relative restrictiveness of the House's proposed healthcare bill, the Senate still has a say in the proposal of a healthcare bill. There are difficult days ahead for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, what with the explosive nature of the abortion issue and the respective non-partisan delineation of the Senators themselves.
